Two United fans’ groups have given their reaction to Liverpool’s ground safety advisory group to set Saturday’s away-fans allocation at 5,174.
The Manchester United Supporters’ Trust and the Independent Manchester United Supporters’ Federation have said they were pleased that such authorities as GSAG and Merseyside Police were talking to them.
But they said they were disappointed by GSAG’s decision to restrict United’s allocation after GSAG firstly promised to restore it to the full entitlement if behaviour at October’s Anfield league game was good and secondly acknowledged behaviour had been good.
The two groups also criticised the police for issuing this press release that could be seen as patronising or even threatening.
