  • nick

Is there any rumours of any pre season games in europe ?

  • andy

normally is one with Barcelona in Sweden or Germany

  • Oli

Nick, a much weaker squad will play a few domestic and European games. Nothing will be arranged until we know of we are community shield though.

Andy, that’s not really the case. There are lots of regular pre season tournament such as Amsterday and Munich, but no pattern as to whether United play in them. And seeing as you mention Sweden, we played there last season only, before that not for at least a decade, so hardly what we usually do.

  • Wazza

Another excuse to go back to thailand!!

  • blinky

You know anyone oli who could sort tickets out for sydney, yokohama, osaka and hong kong?

  • Oli

I could only ask if I was going myself but am not. Cannot be that hard to sort them though.

  • blinky

Sydney and hong kong are sold out and im not a resident of japan so stuck there

  • Luke

I went to Toyko and Macau in 2007. Both games were sold out but United sorted me with tickets through their allocation. Just drop them an email, I’m sure you won’t be the only one in the same boat.
Be sure to mention you’re an STH etc.

  • Tommy

Oli question for you mate, Rio is due testimonial match will that take place in pre season and if so any rumous of potential opponent

  • Oli

Tommy, far too early for that to have been considered.

  • blinky

Cheers luke will give them a ring and try it

  • Luke

To he honest I would email. You never quite know who you’re going to get on the phone. At least an email might get forwarded onto someone in the know.

  • Matt

I just got a reply about HK and Bangkok games and they said they wouldn’t have any tickets to sell

  • blinky

Thats nice of the club to help out, was going to drop them an email today, i suspect they wont bother helping out with sydney and japan tickets then

  • blinky

You would think the club might have a small number of tickets for any uk based fans going over for any of the games.
So no tour for me this summer now

  • Oli

    Blinky,

It is too early. They will have tickets, not least for sponsors etc, but no way any of that will be even discussed yet.

The idiots who answer the phones in ticket office won’t know anything about it. Id try a month before the games.

    Oli

  • blinky
