A roomk at the Art Liverpool

Bargain – £20

The Art Hotel Liverpool (no, really..) at 131 Artema Street is a perfect place for reds to stay, despite the name.

It is a couple of minutes away from the stadium and from the city centre bars, but it also has its own live music bar and a Japanese cafe.

Breakfast is included in the price of the room, which also comes with air conditioning, heating, a TV and a minibar.

Value – £26

The Eva Hotel reception

The three-star Eva Hotel, at Shora Str 29, is right in the city centre and a five-minute taxi journey to the stadium.

It has 38 bright and spacious rooms, each with air conditioning, a work desk, heating, a flatscreen TV, a minibar and a kettle.

There’s free wifi through out and a hotel bar and restaurant and you can pay a bit extra for breakfast.

Luxury – £102

The Donbass Palace Hotel is a five-star joint oozing with luxury and it’s run by the same rich family that the stadium is named after.

A room at the Donbass Hotel

It’s at Artyoma Str 80, which is right in the centre of town.

The 129 rooms are spacious and well decorated. The price is hefty, but you get breakfast with it and the accommodation is classy.

Downstairs, you’ll find an Italian restaurant, a bar and a fitness suite with an indoor swimming pool.

Stayed at the Eva last year (Euro’s) and its an ideal base, 20 min walk to ground with a few bars on the way, rooms are ideal, minibar charges are steep and before they let you check out someone from reception along with security go to your room and check what you have had. (funniest item in mini bar is a pack of jonnies, never seen that before). Come out of hotel turn left then left again, at main go staright across and at the park turn left and ground is on the right about 1 mile up.

Liverpool hotel is a dump but cheap, they have a nightclub attached that is full of brass and costs about £15 to get it, beers are steep and its full of Ukraine security etc however enjoy!

Ged – Might have been dearer because it was during the Euro’s. At least I’m hoping so anyway!
