To all of you going, whether on a direct flight or on 15 hours of trains, have a cracking trip all.

We are on the TCS day trip. Just checked the weather for Wednesday – anyone going take a warm and waterproof coat. It doesn’t look too clever!

Just got back to the UK.

Fantastic place, have been to Kiev before but thoroughly enjoyed Donetsk, we arrived Monday lunchtime.

We do have some very bizzare fans though, must’ve literally been a fan from every country in Eastern Europe, got slightly annoying after a while, asking for photos and trying to start a sing song without knowing the words in some cases.

Ended up back in the hotel bar, the usual faces occupied the bar but was overall pleasant trip.

I agree with Dan, good trip. Pity about the weather though, didn’t see much other than the stadium and the inside of hotel bars.

Great trip. Wizz air out on day of the game. Met some nice lads from Chester who gave us a lift in their rent a car into town. Ended up in a fancy restaurant right outside the ground. Lots of Russian reds in there who ended up buying us a bottle of vodka, naturally the rest of the trip was a bit of a blur!

    Great trip overall!

Any pub recommendations for Sunderland tomorrow by the way? Bit of a pre match sing song

There are no other words than, ‘Amazing trip’. Got home in the early hours and there wasn’t a better 72 hours last season.

Boozers around Sunderland empire are normally used by a number of reds. Revolution and wetherspoons down there decent enough.
